This Privacy Policy applies to Slizo ("Slizo," "we," "us," or "our"), including our website, slideshow-generation tools, publishing features, and support services. It does not govern third-party websites or services that have their own privacy policies.

1. Information we collect

Account and authentication information

We collect information such as your name, email address, profile image, authentication-provider identifier, session information, IP address, and device or browser details. If you sign in with Google, we receive the basic account information you approve, such as your name, email, and profile image. We do not receive your Google password.

Product inputs and generated content

When you submit a public product URL, we retrieve and analyze information available on that page, including product copy, benefits, audience, brand signals, and public media references. We also process the settings you choose and the slides, images, captions, hashtags, exports, and other content generated through Slizo.

TikTok connection and publishing information

If you connect TikTok, we may process your TikTok account identifier, display name, avatar, granted permissions, encrypted access and refresh tokens, connection status, publishing schedule, privacy and music settings, submitted posts, publication status, and available performance metrics. We use this information only to provide the connection, scheduling, publishing, and reporting features you request.

Billing information

Payments are handled by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. We receive transaction details such as your email, plan or credit pack, amount, currency, payment status, subscription identifier, billing period, and refund status. We do not store complete payment-card numbers.

Support, analytics, and technical information

If you contact us through Crisp or email, we process your messages and contact details. We also collect page views, product events, referrers, approximate location, browser and device information, and diagnostic data through PostHog and Vercel so we can understand usage, maintain security, and improve Slizo.

2. How we use information

• Provide accounts, authentication, slideshow generation, exports, and automation.
• Analyze submitted public product pages and create requested AI content.
• Connect accounts and publish or schedule content at your direction.
• Process purchases, subscriptions, credits, cancellations, and refunds.
• Provide support and send important service or account communications.
• Measure performance, troubleshoot errors, prevent abuse, and secure the service.
• Comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.

3. AI and public webpage processing

Slizo sends relevant portions of a submitted public product page and generation instructions to AI and webpage-processing providers to create product briefs and slideshow content. Do not submit private pages, confidential information, personal data you are not authorized to use, or protected health information. OpenAI states that API data is not used to train its models by default, though limited retention may apply under its API data policies.

4. When we share information

We share information only as needed with:

• Infrastructure and storage providers, including Vercel and Cloudflare.
• AI and webpage-processing providers, including OpenAI and Firecrawl.
• Media discovery providers, which may include Pexels, Pixabay, Pinterest, and Apify.
• Authentication providers, including Google.
• Publishing providers, including TikTok and PostPeer, when you connect or publish.
• Billing providers, including Dodo Payments.
• Analytics and support providers, including PostHog, Vercel Analytics, and Crisp.
• Authorities or other parties when required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

Slizo uses authentication and security technologies needed to keep you signed in and operate the service. PostHog may use cookies or local storage for product analytics. Crisp uses functional cookies to preserve a chat session and message history; Crisp states that its chatbox cookies normally expire after six months and are renewed when a visitor returns. Vercel Web Analytics is designed to provide aggregated analytics without third-party cookies. You can restrict cookies through your browser, but parts of Slizo may stop working correctly.

6. Legal bases and international processing

Where applicable, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as security and product improvement, comply with legal obligations, and obtain consent where required. Our providers may process information in countries other than yours under safeguards made available by those providers.

7. Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Slizo, maintain business and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention varies by data type and provider. TikTok tokens stored by Slizo are encrypted. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may ask to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a privacy decision. You may disconnect TikTok from Slizo and can also revoke access through TikTok. Google permissions can be managed from your Google Account. You may complain to your local data-protection authority.

To make a request, email us using the address below. We may need to verify your identity before completing it. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.

9. Children

Slizo is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information to Slizo.
